Union reaches tentative deal with CN Rail

Teamsters Canada and CN Rail have reached a tentative deal to end a week-long strike. CN's normal operations will resume Wednesday Nov. 27 at 6 a.m. local time across Canada.


Propane shortage pained eastern Canadian producers

Producers in Ontario and Quebec were looking for alternate ways to dry their corn in response to the recently resolved strike that limited the availability of propane. OMAFRA's James Dyck laid out the steps on how to use natural (unheated) air to dry corn.


OFA awards education bursaries to three Ontario agriculture students

Robert Matson of Caledon, Nolan McLarty of West Lorne and Natalie Templeton of Kemptville, Ont., were awarded $2,000 to assist with their post-secondary education in an agricultural program.
