Cutworms are no stranger to the Prairies. But after more than a century of advancements in agriculture, we still don’t have a concrete solution for effectively and consistently managing cutworms. A solid IPM plan requires thorough knowledge of the target pest but, for cutworms, a lot of this information was lacking. Maya Evenden at the University of Alberta has identified some key cutworm research gaps.
