Growers manage clubroot mainly by planting resistant canola varieties, but in recent years new strains of the pathogen have emerged that can overcome this resistance. Successful clubroot management requires resistance stewardship and an integrated approach. University of Alberta researchers are looking for more integrated approaches for managing the disease.
