Speaker Spotlight: Tyler Wist

There are many beneficial insects that help keep destructive crop pests at bay, but what are they? Tyler Wist will break down beneficials at Top Crop Manager’s Plant Health Summit, to be held Feb. 25 and 26, 2020 in Saskatoon.

Tyler Wist is a research scientist in field crop entomology at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) Saskatoon. His research supports a producer’s main concerns: increasing productivity and enhancing the environment. During the Summit, Wist’s presentation will introduce producers to some of the big players in the beneficial insect world so that producers can know what they are, and what they can do for the crops.
