Canadian producers have long faced issues posed by field crop diseases, and the challenges have continued to evolve year after year. How have management practices changed, and what can growers expect in the years to come?
At the 2017 Field Crop Disease Summit, Bruce Gossen will answer these questions during his presentation of past, present and future crop disease threats. Gossen, a research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Saskatoon, will focus on previous studies, the current threats of clubroot and Aphanomyces root rot, and share new technologies that will change how producers manage diseases.
