China says pest concerns justify ban on Canadian canola

Earlier this week, Winnipeg-based Richardson International Ltd., said that China had revoked its permit to export canola. China justified the block saying it has found ‘harmful organisms’ in the product, but the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has not identified anything of concern.
