Government supports grains and oilseeds exports around the world

The Government of Canada will invest $13 million in projects that will help to strengthen, diversify and grow Canada’s grains and oilseeds exports. Industry members emphasize the support will help Canada continue to diversify its exports amid ongoing trade tensions.


Farm groups launch online producer survey on seed royalties

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are currently reviewing two potential new models of collecting royalties on saved seed. Prairie farm groups have launched an online survey to collect producer feedback.


BASF introduces direct-to-retail model for Western Canada
