The bottom line will always be a priority, but nutrient stewardship should be, too. Widespread adoption of 4R Nutrient Stewardship could significantly reduce emissions, according to a recent paper by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. However, less than 10 per cent of farmers surveyed in 2019 have a 4R plan in place, and many face adoption barriers. With no one-size-fits-all solution, farmers are invited to share their points of view.
