Governments of Canada and Saskatchewan invest $14.7M in crop research

Canada's minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Lawrence MacAulay, and Saskatchewan Agriculture minister David Marit announced a total of $14.7 million to support crop-related research in 2024.


New FMC Canada herbicide targets kochia and broadleaf weeds

FMC Canada has launched its new Authority Strike herbicide, a pre-emergent that delivers two Group 14 modes of action. Authority Strike herbicide is registered for wheat (spring and durum), flax, chickpea, mustard, field pea, fababean, soybean and sunflower.


Nearly $1.8 million committed to collaborative wheat research

The Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission (Sask Wheat) committed more than $1.8 million to 17 research projects funded through the Saskatchewan Agriculture Development Fund (ADF) in 2023.
