Hosted by the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada - Pacific (AIAC Pacific), the 2019 edition of the largest Aerospace, Defence and Security Expo in Western Canada will take place August 8-9 in Abbotsford, British Columbia under the theme Vision 2025: The Canadian Aerospace Advantage.
From the beginning, Canada’s aerospace industry has been a leader — a manufacturing and MRO powerhouse at home, and an innovative front-runner around the world. But today, that leadership is being challenged and Canada's aerospace legacy is at risk. If Canada is to keep the aerospace advantage it has spent decades building, the time to act is now.
Featuring executives from industry, government, and more, ADSE 2019 will consider Canada’s future in aerospace, defence and security and explore the challenges and opportunities facing the industry at home and in the global marketplace. High-profile presenters include:
• The Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Canadian Minister of Public Services and Procurement and Accessibility
• The Honourable Harjit Sajjan, Minister of National Defence
• The Honourable Bruce Ralston, BC Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology
• David Curtis, Executive Chair, Longview Aviation Capital
• Lorraine Ben, new Lockheed Martin Canada Chief Executive
• Jake Jacobson, Vice President of Communications & Government Relations, Babcock
• Bob Cantwell, Managing Director, Boeing Canada and Boeing Vancouver
• Jim Barnes, Director, Fighter Programs, Canada, Defence, Space and Security, Boeing
