  Backed by strong infrastructure, North Bay’s Jack Garland Airport is home to tenants who both benefit from and help drive a thriving, integrated MRO ecosystem

Voyageur Aviation, a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Inc., operates its head office and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in North Bay, Ontario, adjacent to North Bay’s Jack Garland Airport. This 200,000-square-foot, multi-hangar complex is the center of Voyageur’s global operations, delivering specialized Defence and Technical, Component, and Flight Solutions to a broad range of domestic and international clients.

As a certified Air Operator, Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), and Design Approval Organization (DAO), Voyageur offers end-to-end support for regional aircraft platforms. The North Bay facility is a hub for heavy maintenance, complex modifications, and engineering-led innovation, while also supporting full-service flight operations for humanitarian and special mission deployments worldwide.

Guided by its mission of delivering innovative solutions to customers with unique aviation requirements, Voyageur proudly positions North Bay as a leading destination for high-value MRO and specialized aviation support.
 
 
 
  Just down the runway, Canadore College supports this industry with a state-of-the-art Aviation Campus—which includes one of the largest aviation training facilities in Canada. Canadore trains the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers, with specialized expertise in maintenance, structural repair, and avionics.

The college is also home to ICAMP (Innovation Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Prototyping), which provides industry with prototyping, testing, and product development support to assist industry partners with aerospace innovation. Through strong industry partnerships and direct pipelines to industry employment, the college acts as a talent incubator, building a skilled workforce for the industry.
