Each year the Northern Lights Aero Foundation announces the 8 recipients of its annual Elsie MacGill awards, which honour Canadian women who have made outstanding contributions in aviation and aerospace. Named after aviation trailblazer and human rights advocate Elsie Gregory MacGill, the award recognizes outstanding women across seven categories: business, education, engineering, flight operations, government, trailblazer, and rising star.
The 2022 gala awards dinner is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel and Suites Conference Centre in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
