ATAC tabled key issues during meetings with leading Ottawa political and regulatory stakeholders during May meetings. ATAC held a good first meeting with Michael Keenan, newly appointed Deputy Minister for Transport Canada, which led up to a very constructive meeting with Minister Marc Garneau.
On Aviation Day on the Hill, held May 17, ATAC Directors and Officers discussed key issues with members of the House Committees on Transport, Finance, and Public Safety & National Security. ATAC also met with Transport Canada Officials for a formal consultation on the Canadian Transportation Act Review.
