New UAV products are all the buzz!

Small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also known as unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) or drones, are gaining traction in a variety of industries including film and media, security, oil and gas, heavy construction, aerial fire fighting, insurance, public safety, agriculture, among others.


Boeing, L-3 MAS to partner on Super Hornet support

Boeing has announced a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with L-3 MAS under which the companies will collaborate on production and support of the F/A-18 Super Hornet should the government of Canada move forward with the acquisition of 18 new Super Hornet fighter aircraft.


Rainville named president/CEO of Aéroports de Montréal

Normand Legault, chair of the board of Aéroports de Montréal, has announced the appointment of Philippe Rainville as president and chief executive officer of Aéroports de Montréal, effective Jan. 1, 2017

ATAC on the International Scene

ATAC and its Members are involved in three international trade missions this fall.

Nine ATAC Member companies participated in the AOPA-China Flight Training Exhibition in Shenzhen on October 14-16. Past missions have helped ATAC Member Schools successfully attract hundreds of Chinese students to Canada for flight training.

Eleven ATAC MRO Members partook in the MRO Europe mission in Amsterdam on October 18-20.

Four ATAC Member companies participated in the Pilot Careers Live, held on November 4-6 at Heathrow, London, a touring tradeshow seeking to attract European youth to a career in aviation. >> Learn More
