Embraer flies first Legacy 500 assembled in Melbourne

Embraer announced the successful maiden flight of its first Legacy 500 mid-size business jet assembled at its industrial facilities in Melbourne, Fla., just eight months after the first Legacy 450 mid-light jet assembled in Melbourne took flight. The aircraft performed as expected and all flight test procedures were successfully completed.


Search is on for free-flight Avro Arrow models

The Canada Aviation and Space Museum is lending its support to OEX Recovery Group Incorporated in a project involving the search-and-recovery of free-flight Avro Arrow models, which have rested on the bottom of Lake Ontario for more than 60 years.
