Unstable approach a key factor in fatal collision: TSB

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has released its investigation report (A16A0032) into the March 2016 fatal collision with terrain of a Mitsubishi MU-2 twin-engine turboprop aircraft in Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec.


Pegasus 737-800 skids off runway after engine surge

A Turkish passenger plane that plunged off a runway onto a cliff precariously close to the sea suddenly turned after a surge of power in one of its engines, pilots told investigators in comments published Monday.


Air freight demand remains strong in November: IATA

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has released data for global air freight markets showing that demand, measured in freight tonne kilometers (FTKs), climbed 8.8% in November 2017 compared to the year-earlier period.
