We have amended our Embraer 135/145 aircraft ADS-B(OUT) Supplemental Type Certificate (ST03177NY) to enables all Embraer ERJ 135/145 variants in FAA jurisdiction to have ADS-B installed. The modification incorporates Honeywell’s RCZ-8XXM Mode S Extended Squitter transponders and FreeFlight Systems’ 1203C SBAS/GNSS sensor for a complete ADS-B (Out) solution. It also eliminates the need for the aircraft to have a Honeywell FMS, as the ADS-B system will work with any FMS available in the marketplace today. In addition, we expect that EASA will validate the amendment by April 2018.
