Mirabel facility celebrates Delta Air Lines becoming the first North American carrier to take delivery of an Airbus A220 aircraft. Scheduled to enter service in early 2019, the new A220 will make Delta the fourth global airline to operate the aircraft. Airbus states the A220 has all the credentials to win the lion’s share of the 100- to 150-seat market.

Bombardier’s Global Completion Centre is renamed after Laurent Beaudoin to recognize his contributions as one of the company’s most historically influential visionaries, including his leadership during the first flight of Global Express in 1996. Beaudoin retired in May 2018 after 55 years with the company.
