On May 7, ATAC and five other national aviation associations (CAC, CBAA, COPA, HAC and NACC) co-hosted a Day-on-the-Hill Reception in the Wellington Parliament Building. Over 165 guests participated, including 36 MPs and 24 staffers. This gave the host associations a unique opportunity to inform MPs of key aviation issues. Dominant on the agenda is the HR shortage which is curbing our industry’s growth. The evening was a great success and we will hold the event again in early May 2020, just a few months after the formation of a new government and a new cohort of MPs.
