SkyAlyne, a partnership between Canadian aviation and defence companies CAE and KF Aerospace, has officially unveiled its expanded team of strategic subcontractors to pursue the RCAF’s Future Aircrew Training Program (FAcT).
Collectively employing more than 14,000 Canadians and operating in every region of Canada, the full SkyAlyne Team includes ATCO Frontec, Bluedrop Training and Simulation, Canadian Base Operators, Canadian Helicopters, PAL Aerospace and SERCO Canada. These partnerships add considerable expertise, experience and Canadian content to SkyAlyne’s bid for FAcT.

ATAC hopes that Chrystia Freeland, Canada’s new Finance Minister, will see the benefits to Canadians of supporting the air transport industry. The Prime Minister agrees that our industry has been devastated by the pandemic, more than most others. Yet, our many appeals to the PM, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Transport, and the Minister of Economic Development remain unanswered months later. Surely Minister Freeland understands that it would be a lot easier to help carriers continue offering their services to communities than having to replace carriers that won’t survive without help.
