ATAC congratulates MP Omar Alghabra for his nomination as Transport Minister and looks forward to a constructive collaboration at this critical time for our industry and the future of air travel in Canada. We are counting on his leadership to get the Government to help an industry which plays a vital role in connecting Canadian communities, large and small, with the rest of Canada and the world. Failure to act now to stabilize the industry would undermine any future recovery strategy for the air transport industry and impede the overall economic recovery for Canada in general.
