Blue Line’s awards program is now accepting nominations!

The eighth annual Lifetime in Law Enforcement Achievement Award seeks to recognize a leader in law enforcement who has made a difference in their communities through exceptional dedication and compassion. This award is open to all law enforcement officers who are below the rank of senior official, and welcomes nominations of those working for organizations that are not police agencies (such as Canada Border Services Agency, Correctional Service of Canada, etc.) and who have over 15 years of experience.

The sixth annual Rookie of the Year Award highlights promising new officers who are effectively paving the way for the policing of today and tomorrow, and making positive waves among their peers, agencies, communities and beyond. This award is open to active Canadian police officers who have been serving for three years or less and are below the rank of senior officer. They must have demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to service through deeds, resulting in a measurable benefit to their peers, their service and the community.

The winners will be featured as part of the March/April 2025 edition of Blue Line.
