Blue Line’s annual awards program is seeking nominations to recognize the dedication and commitment demonstrated by exceptional law enforcement professionals across Canada. This is your opportunity to highlight those who are truly making a measurable difference in their services and communities.
We encourage you to submit nominations for the following prestigious awards:
1. Lifetime in Law Enforcement Achievement Award
The ninth annual Lifetime in Law Enforcement Achievement Award recognizes a leader in law enforcement who has made a significant difference in their communities through exceptional dedication and compassion.
Eligibility:
- Nominees must have over 15 years of experience.
- Nominees must be below the rank of senior official.
- Nominations are also welcomed from those working for organizations that are not traditional police agencies, such as the Canada Border Services Agency or Correctional Service of Canada.
2. Rookie of the Year Award
The seventh annual Rookie of the Year Award highlights promising new officers who are effectively paving the way for the policing of today and tomorrow. This award seeks to honour those who are making positive waves among their peers, agencies, communities and beyond.
Eligibility:
- Nominees must be active Canadian police officers.
- Nominees must have been serving for three years or less.
- The nominee must have demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to service through deeds, resulting in a measurable benefit to their peers, their service, and the community.
