What began as a focused pilot through sending acknowledgment messages, delay notifications and short surveys for select call types, quickly proved its value. Since launch of Versaterm CommunityConnect™, the agency has delivered more than 260,000 real‑time messages, including crime‑victim updates and investigation notifications, giving community members timely information without adding workload to frontline officers.
Building on this success, YRP expanded CommunityConnect across Patrol, Investigations and Insights, enabling faster communication, improved documentation and more consistent service delivery.
The results are reshaping what efficient, community-centered policing looks like, whether through digital crash reporting or pre-charge diversion programs. YRP has created a blueprint for modern service delivery.
