Thursday, September 19, 2024, All Day

• Tour a working forest and learn about co-management with First Nations.
• Discuss old growth forest initiatives and the potential for carbon credits.
• Enjoy dinner at Cuckoo Trattoria in Coombs, and check out the goats on the roof!
• Overnight in Parksville at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre.

Friday, September 20, 2024, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Walk Rathtrevor Beach. At low tide, the ocean recedes 1 km.
• Visit Cathedral Grove and stroll through trails with towering 800-year-old trees.
• Arrive in Nanaimo and catch a float plane, helicopter, airplane, or ferry to your next destination (not included in the tour price).

Cost: $1,350 per person, which includes bus transportation, two nights hotel, and one dinner. All other meals and transportation from Nanaimo to your next destination are not included.
