In partnership with Borland Creek Logging, Tsi Del Del Enterprises is grinding up salvage wood from harvesting residuals and old burn areas. Both companies are transporting the wood chips to Atlantic Power and Pinnacle Renewable Energy’s Williams Lake pellet plant.

In May 2019, FPInnovations and Resolute commissioned a new thermo-mechanical-pulp (TMP)-bio plant in Thunder Bay, Ont. The plant, which can treat 100 metric tonnes of biomass annually, produces lignin and sugars that will be used to develop new bio-products.
