Following last year’s successful inaugural event, Advance Women in Engineering returns this year with a valuable agenda of keynote presentations and engaging panel discussions, with opportunities for registered attendees to have their questions answered live. This year’s themes, including education, workplace health and parity in governance, are based on audience feedback from last year.

Advance Women in Engineering promotes gender diversity in one of Canada’s most celebrated areas of expertise, as consulting engineering firms seek to recruit and retain more women for roles at all levels of seniority. Our goal is to spotlight the accomplishments of successful female professional engineers, encourage more women to join the industry and community and raise awareness of organizations that are already taking a leading role in this effort.

The virtual summit is scheduled for June 20, so as to precede International Women in Engineering Day. It will run from 11:30 am ET to roughly 2:50 pm ET. Registered attendees will also receive a link afterwards to video recordings of all the sessions.
