The use of combustible piping systems for drainage, waste and vent (DWV) applications can be cost effective, code compliant and offer proven longevity to the project teams that understand how to intelligently specify and install it.

The purpose of this session is to build an understanding of what Part 3 of the building code requires from combustible DWV piping systems so that you can confidently specify the proper combustible DWV pipe material for any building type (combustible and noncombustible), height (high buildings, low rise) and location within the building (plenums, vertical service spaces, FT rated fire separations, noise sensitive areas).
