Recent changes to the CSA B149.1 Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code now permit common venting of multiple appliances provided that: 1. All appliances sharing the vent must be the same type and manufacturer, 2. All the appliances must be certified for application in common vent configurations, and 3. A flue Backflow prevention valve must be installed for each appliance.

This session will introduce the System 636 Common Venting solution, our engineered specialty fittings designed for common venting including a ULC S636 certified Backflow valve and Clean-out condensate drain and delve into the benefits of common venting multiple condensing appliances in commercial applications.
