INNOVATIVE TIRES FOR FORESTRY APPLICATIONS:
BKT PRESENTS FORESTLAND AND FORESTMAX
BKT presents two innovative tires specifically developed for forestry applications and for some agricultural operations. FORESTLAND features a cutting-edge agro-forestry design: it is a radial tire developed for the most demanding tasks of forest and woodland maintenance. It distinguishes itself by outstanding durability thanks to its strong and resistant polyester casing. The special cut-and-chip-resistant tread compound and the reinforced sidewall ensure a long product life cycle. The open shoulder design provides excellent traction on sand, while the special tread pattern with stiff, reinforced lugs ensures optimum grip on all types of terrain. In addition to excellent self-cleaning properties, FORESTLAND provides a high level of stability thanks to its reinforced bead.
The second featured product is BKT's new radial tire for tractors, namely FORESTMAX. Again, this tire is made of an extremely cut-and-chip-resistant tread compound. The steel-belted construction reduces the risk of punctures in the woods. FORESTMAX distinguishes itself by a strong open shoulder that ensures excellent traction and high stability, even on rough and uneven terrain. The combination of tread strength and specific shoulder design stands for top self-cleaning properties and a long product life. The multi-ply polyester casing and the reinforced sidewall provide increased resistance against the intense mechanical stress of forestry operations. This tire can also be employed in some specific farming operations, such as soil milling and stone breaking, ensuring maximum safety.
