A message from the publisher

On March 5, 2026, Canadian Forest Industries, Pulp & Paper Canada, Canadian Biomass, and Opérations Forestières et de Scierie will host the Women in Forestry Virtual Summit.

This free, national event will bring together industry professionals for a meaningful discussion on gender and diversity in the forest sector.

Session 3: The work-life balance challenge, will offer attendees the opportunity to submit questions anonymously to a panel of women's mental health professionals specializing in treating and managing the perinatal, perimenopause and menopause spaces.

Between raising young children, looking after older parents, and managing menopause and perimenopause, many industry professionals struggle to find a healthy work-life balance. This panel discussion will be led by mental health professionals who specialize in treating and managing the perinatal, perimenopause and menopause spaces, and can offer tips on how to build a healthier work-life balance.

Moderator: Christine Leduc, Vice-President of Communications, Sustainable Forestry Initiative, and Project Learning Tree (PLT) Canada.
