Grant Thornton Limited has been appointed as Receiver (the "Receiver") of MP Atlantic Wood Ltd., New Future Lumber Ltd. and 669699 N.B. Ltd. ("M.P. Atlantic") pursuant to a Court Order. M.P. Atlantic operated a planing mill and wood processing facility in Dieppe, NB on a 96 acre lot. The facility includes:
• 2015 Gilbert 6 roll 2000 fpm planer;
• VAB Solutions automated planer mill grading system
• Energie F.E.I. Inc. wood fired boiler with:
• 90,000 bdft kiln
• 150,000 bdft kiln;
• 2016 Cathild Industries propane fueled 300,000 bf kiln; and
• Miscellaneous rolling stock, equipment and buildings.
En bloc offers are preferred; however, offers may be submitted for different asset classes on an individual basis. The deadline for submitting offers to purchase the assets is March 12, 2020 at 5:00 pm Atlantic Time.
