Canadian Bioeconomy Conference postponed to 2021

Canada’s largest and longest-running conference on the bioeconomy will be postponed for one year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Two Ontario sawmills to reopen after soft lumber markets forced temporary closure

On March 27, White River Forest Products and Hornepayne Lumber both shut down — putting about 300 workers out of work— due to the softening of the lumber market caused by COVID-19. But both are now set to reopen.
