Tolko has announced a new state-of-the-art ripline will begin operating at its Athabasca, Alta., mill this summer.

B.C. government postpones MFPR during COVID-19

In an effort to support the forestry companies and workers that have been affected by COVID-19, the B.C. government is delaying the Manufactured Forest Products Regulation (MFPR) and fee-in-lieu to give forest companies more time to prepare for upcoming regulatory changes.

J.D. Irving investing $35M to expand Doaktown, N.B. sawmill

A $35 million project will see the mill’s footprint grow by 14,000 square feet, bringing together the sawmill, planer mill and value-added centre under one roof.
