Officers elected to lead SEAA

The Steel Erectors Association of America announced new officers and board members. Geoff Kress was elected president. Kress has been a member since 2007 and served as treasurer for eight years. In 2011, he was honoured as SEAA Person of the Year. Kress will serve a two-year term from 2020 to 2022.


Toronto has most cranes in North America second time in a row

Walking around downtown Toronto you won’t see busy streets filled with people, but you will see a lot of cranes. Toronto still has more cranes up than any North American city for the second year in a row, according to the Rider Levett Bucknall’s Q1-2020 North American Crane Index.


Caterpillar names ConExpo/Con-Agg 2023 chair

AEM announced Phil Kelliher, a vice president at Caterpillar, will chair the next CONEXPO-CON/AGG. As chairperson, Kelliher will lead a cross-section of construction equipment leaders to oversee planning of the show, which is set for March 14-18, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nev.
