A message from our publisher

Our next Egg-Centric Learning Series webinars take place tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET, offering timely, research-based guidance for Canada’s egg producers.

In “Finding Balance: Stocking Density and Welfare in Enriched Housing Systems,” Dr. Kenneth Anderson of North Carolina State University will share new research on how space allowance, hen age and time of day affect laying hen behaviour, welfare and productivity in enriched housing systems.

In “Salmonella Control in Layers: What Canada’s New Vaccination Mandate Means for Producers,” Dr. Babak Sanei of Zoetis Canada will explain what the new national vaccination requirement means for layer operations and how vaccination supports flock health and food safety.

Registration is $25 per participant, and all registrants will receive a recording of both sessions the next day, even if they cannot attend live.
