The mining and minerals industry is one of the oldest industries there is, and its primary process hasn't changed since its inception: dig, separate, process, and deliver. While this industry has been critical to every aspect of the modern world, external factors such as electrification have made this industry even more critical. How can the mining and minerals sector leverage new technology and processes to meet the increasing demands, both economic and environmental? While implementing I4.0 may be challenging for many industries, the mining and minerals industry faces unique challenges that must be overcome, but being able to do so can have a major impact on projects.
