The all-metal BGN variable area flow meter is specifically designed for precise flow measurement of liquids and gases in demanding industrial applications. By using a guide star instead of a guide rod, it offers improved flow characteristics, reduced wear, and enhanced operational safety. The current flow rate is indicated in units of volume or mass per unit time.
Thanks to its high accuracy, reliability, and robust construction – combined with versatile design options – the BGN flow meter significantly contributes to process optimization.

Applications
|
| |
Due to its special design, the BGN is particularly useful for processes under difficult and harsh operating conditions. It enables the measurement, monitoring, adjustment, and control of processes, as well as the regulation of liquid or gaseous flow. The devices are available with optional electrical accessories for expanded functionality.
Whether in stainless steel, Hastelloy, PTFE-lined, or a special version in Monel – the meter can be optimally adapted to different media and industries. The wetted parts are selected such that even highly aggressive or corrosive process fluids can be measured safely and reliably over the long term – making it ideal for chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, or hydrogen applications.
