‘Unconstitutionally vague’: Lake Erie Bill of Rights thrown out

A federal judge declared the Lake Erie bill of rights unconstitutionally vague. The bill granted rights to Lake Erie and allowed citizens to file lawsuits on behalf of the lake, and exposed thousands of farmers to lawsuits for their use of fertilizers.


Wetlands deregulation in Indiana House’s hands

The Indiana House of Representatives considered a bill to remove the need for permits for the reconstruction of drains. Environmental groups oppose the change stating that removing the need for permits can cause damage to wetlands.


NSDU tile drainage design workshop set for March 10
