Danilo Pau is Technical Director at STMicroelectronics, an IEEE AAIA and ST Fellow, and a Sigma Xi Member in System Research. He holds an Electronic Engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano (1992) and specializes in video coding, embedded graphics, and computer vision standards. A prolific researcher, he has 80+ patents, 200+ publications, and 118 invited talks. Between 2022 and 2024, he curated three IEEE Milestones. He continues to mentor students and serve the EdgeAI Foundation

JACK FERRARI

Product Manager, Edge AI, MathWorks
Jack Ferrari is a Product Manager at MathWorks, where he empowers MATLAB and Simulink users to compress and deploy AI models to edge devices and embedded systems. He has experience working with customers across various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and medical devices. Jack holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.

Nico is the Co-Founder and Director of Simulation Engineering at PhysicsX - a pioneering deeptech company at the forefront of AI and engineering, dedicated to driving breakthrough innovations. Collaborating across Delivery, R&D, and Platform teams, Nico leads the development of advanced computer-aided engineering (CAE) and AI-accelerated design optimization methodologies. With extensive expertise in both engineering and deep learning, he works at the intersection of these fields to meet the important challenges of our time and build beyond human imagination. Prior to co-founding PhysicsX in late 2019, Nico built his career in the automotive and motorsport industries working for companies like Bentley Motors, Audi Motorsport, and Mercedes-Benz.

THOMAS VON TSCHAMMER

General Manager US, Neural Concept
Thomas von Tschammer is General Manager US at Neural Concept. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in neuroprosthetics from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. He began his career as a researcher at EPFL’s Computer Vision Laboratory, where Neural Concept originated as a spin-off. Joining the company in its early days, he spent four years leading the Application Engineering team as Director of Operations before stepping into his current role.

BRUNO MÉNARD

Software Director, DALSA | Vision Solutions
Bruno Menard is Director of Software and Program Manager at Teledyne DALSA, with over 30 years of experience in Machine Vision. His expertise spans 2D and 3D image processing, analysis, and AI, leading projects in filtering, identification, recognition, and measurement using both traditional and AI-driven algorithms. He has worked on software development and deployment across various platforms and embedded processors. Since 2016, his focus has been on 3D image analysis and AI software for industrial inspection applications.
