Texas Instruments BQ24800 Hybrid Power Boost-Mode Battery Charge Controller

TI’s SMBus 1- to 4-cell controller features power and PROCHOT monitoring. The BQ24800 high-efficiency synchronous buck battery charger offers a low component count for space-constrained, multi-chemistry battery charging applications. The charger supports hybrid power boost-mode which boosts the battery up to the system voltage to supplement the adapter when system power demand is temporarily higher than what the adapter can provide.
