At the OFA, you’ll be mentored by seasoned firefighters from 14 different departments across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area. The decades of experience they bring to the classroom ensure our programs effectively combine theory with relevant hands-on practical experience that reflects the realities of today’s fireground.
OFA’s training programs follow NFPA’s training standards and are recognized by the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office (OFM). OFA students earn their OFM and IFSAC certifications upon successful completion of their exams and graduation.
