Aurora Cannabis co-founder retires from board of directors

Terry Booth has announced that he will be retiring from the company’s board of directors. He stepped down as chief executive in February but remained a member of the board. The move comes after fellow co-foudner, Steve Dobler, prepares to retire as president and director.


Aphria, Emblem and Aleafia settle dispute over cancelled supply agreement

Aphria Inc. has reached a deal worth $29.1 million to settle a dispute with Emblem Cannabis Corp. and Aleafia Health Inc. The settlement ends a disagreement the companies had over Aleafia’s decision in 2019 to cancel a supply agreement it had with Aphria.


Changes to B.C. law helps cannabis retailers be more compliant

Legal cannabis shops in B.C. are now allowed to have transparent windows in their storefronts. Previously, cannabis retailers had to break provincial law to comply to city bylaw requirements which require retail stores to have all transparent exterior windows.
