District of Sparwood, B.C., to bring new drinking water well online

The District of Sparwood, B.C., Teck Resources Limited, and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy are working together to bring Well No. 4 online as a new drinking water supply source to residents of Sparwood.

Arnprior, Ont., ordered to get to the bottom of dump contamination

Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has given Arnprior, Ont., until June 30 to determine the origin of contaminated water that’s been leaching from the area around the town’s dump. CBC News reports.
