The federal government will extend the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy by an additional 12 weeks to Aug. 29, 2020 and consult with business and labour representatives over the next month on potential adjustments to the program to stimulate jobs and growth, including the 30 per cent revenue decline threshold.


Brockton, Ont., launches scholarship fund to mark 20 years since the Walkerton water tragedy

The Municipality of Brockton, Ont., is launching the Walkerton Clean Water Legacy Scholarship fund to both honour those who suffered because of the water crisis and support local students wishing to pursue careers in environmental science or clean water management.
