In what they’re calling a “stunning” discovery, scientists at the Forsyth Institute of dentistry have found that bacteria whose closest relatives can also be found in ground water have adapted to such diverse environments as dogs, cats and dolphins without radically changing their genomes.

U.S. accountability office recommends improving Canada-U.S. communication on Great Lakes commission

The U.S. Government Accountability Office has made recommendations to help the commission that governs water releases from Lake Ontario into the St. Lawrence River better evaluate its communication between Canadian and U.S. stakeholders.
