A Wolf’s Moon

A former RCAF pilot, Hank Sands described himself as an “ex-military jet jockey” when he first began applying for a civilian job as a helicopter pilot. He landed his first job with Okanagan Helicopters, and trained in Kamloops and the Kootenays where he was trained on Bell 47 G2 and Hiller 12 E choppers.
