Jennifer Jamieson joined Zoetis in 2021 and is currently a Research Director within the Environmental Safety Team. Her experience includes managing a range of research programmes for regulatory submission, authoring Environmental Risk Assessments and Expert Reports, supporting our manufacturing sites to reduce our impact on the environment, sitting on expert working groups and influencing the regulatory environment. She graduated with Honours & PhD in Chemistry from University of Glasgow. She has about 10 years of contract research lab experience, managing a group of scientists conducting environmental fate studies to support registration of novel & existing veterinary drugs and pesticides. She spent 21 years as a consultant, primarily developing environmental safety programmes for global registration of livestock and aquaculture parasiticides and antibiotics.

Aikaterini (Katie) Spiliotopoulou is a Greek native environmental engineer that attended the University of the Aegean in Greece (BSc) and the Technical University of Denmark (MSc). She has a strong scientific background in environmental technologies and analytical chemistry based on multidisciplinary academic studies with special interest in aquaculture, swimming pool and waste water treatment with UV and ozonation treatment. In 2014, she joined Water ApS, a part of OxyGuard Group, where she has worked with designing ozone and UV systems mainly for the aquaculture industry. Since 2020, she belongs to the project management group of OxyGuard drafting project proposals aiming to solve various issues in aquaculture industry (e.g. geosmin) and following up the funded projects through all stages upon completion.

Julianna Stangroom is a scientific advisor at Onda, consulting on all things microbial and mysterious. Her personal forte is in investigative research – How do pathogens interact with the environment, with their hosts, and with other bacteria in the microbiome? Julianna applies this research to help clientele identify and develop microbial management strategies for the future. Alongside the team at Onda, she also works to develop tools for aquaculture product development, such as vaccine, feed additive, and prophylactic treatments. These tools aim to bring better products to market, with the ultimate goal of addressing the growing threat of bacterial disease in a warming world.
