A message from our sponsors

Recent amendments to Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) are now in force and if your team is remote, hybrid or onsite, you’ll need to make some major updates.

Here’s what’s changed:
  • Virtual harassment via texts, emails or in virtual meetings is now explicitly covered under workplace harassment and workplace sexual harassment and must be addressed as part of your health and safety obligations and documentation.
  • Joint health and safety (JHSC) meetings can now be held remotely, so it’s important to ensure that all requirements can be met without physical meetings.
  • And, mandatory OHS documents can now be posted electronically, but you MUST make sure all your employees can access these and tell them where to find them.
Keeping up with constant changes doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

BrightHR’s all-in-one health & safety platform gives you the support you need to remove the hassle of these evolving requirements.
