With 2026 declared the International Year of the Woman Farmer, there’s no better time to tell the stories of women growers from across Canada.

Greenhouse Canada and Fruit & Vegetable have joined forces to introduce She Grows – a platform to spotlight the voices and achievements of women who are growing crops, opportunity, sustainability and community across Canada’s horticultural landscape.

Nominations for women growers in Canada’s greenhouse, nursery, floriculture, fruit or vegetable sectors are now being accepted. Successful nominees will have their stories shared through print and online editions, as well as podcast interviews. For more details, please visit shegrowscanada.com.
